ok heres a step by step check list.
1. open your mixer. the first track is ur mic in so make sure its turned up.
2. go to "divice setup" click "VST multi track" swich driver to the "asio full duplex driver", "click control panel"(underneath) and tick the "mic" box.
(hint) the buffer sizes must all be multiples of "1024" press enter to apply individual changes but they must all be the same value)
3 check monitor is on to see if audio is going in youl see a bar next to the volume bar going up n down which represents audio.
5 double click your sound icon on the task bar for the audio mixer(on windows not cubase
) and check that nothings muted. and that should sort it.
