I could hit the button and send out 10's of thousands of emails but if I did that I would be completely swamped with support questions about URL's and passwords etc. Should have this sorted in the next day or two though along with a couple of other minor bits and pieces. Good to go then
Re the forum updater - it's handy being able to log into the site and be automatically logged into the forum. I have to say I agree that the automatic posting of new songs is not working as planned - we live and learn I guess. Might just kill that idea and go back to the old fashioned method of users creating their own posts in the forum they want to pimp their own music...
We'll definitely be increasing the number of latest uploaded tracks visible on the main page though. It used to be 20 but now it's at 10. How would you guys feel about having a tab similar to the top 100 which shows the previous 10 uploads when clicked? It could go all the way back to 50 or even 100. The problem with increasing the number of latest tracks from 10 to 20 is it would require a complete redesign of the homepage which would not be an easy thing to do. Also, having an additional 10 links would start cluttering thing up. Being able to shuffle through the uploads should work though.
What do you think?
