Hi Steven
I'm not sure if this might help but I found this tutorial on youtube, but the guy is using Ableton. Hope it helps.

Thanks for your input, it's appreciated. I have Live 7 and thanks to that tutorial have figured it out for that DAW - but not Logic - which is my favourite sequencer - the only solution I can see at the moment, is to export all the midi parts to audio - but its a fiddly process - doubling the amount of work. I guess if no one can help I will have to get support from Spectrasonics! Well I logged in and watched loads of videos, but nothing on routing!
One nice thing about Omnisphere, though, is it is almost like a self contained DAW in its own right! You can add Omnisphere FX, not only to a patch, but to an individual layer and of course there is a mixer, in which you can pan and balance dynamics. It is the most powerful synth on the planet, bar none - Last edited by Steven Silverthorn; 14-11-2010 at 22:55 PM.. Reason: additional thoughts
