Real Strat and Real Guitar are both amazing softwares, you would really struggle in a mix to tell them apart from the real thing. I've used them for years purely for rhythm guitar stuff, it's just another sound tool for me. Obviously it's never gonna replace a real guitarist, but for my simple needs it's great and most importantly, if you use the Pattern Manager (which is like auto strum thing) it can play a huge amount of weird chords which has always been the biggest limited of this kind of software

I confess to using realguitar occasionally, when timing is absolutely critical and my over-eager playing won't do... I challenge anyone to spot where I used it!

Can this be used with Reason 4? Has anyone tried it?

Reason doesn't work with outside plug ins (vst/AU/rtas), it's a closed system, it will however, work in any DAW (cubase, ableton, sonar etc) and therefore can be used in Rewire mode alongside Reason
