Festival in Ireland

Are there many bands from Ireland on the site? (Not withstanding anyone who wants to travel to Ireland at their own expense!)

I have been contacted by a festival organiser to see if we have any bands who would be suitable to play at an outdoor summer festival in August.

Details under wraps at the moment until the organisers confirm dates and times.

Thought I would put it out there to see if there is any interest?

As the festival is targeted at a mainstream audience, the more extremes of the music spectrum would probably not be tolerated!

I would suggest Fling as a band worth checking this out. Pity guitar w4nkery isn't more in vogue, otherwise I might get a chance to grace the stage again!

The organisers like your music and would like to offer you a slot at the festival. It fits with the criteria they have established for the music.

It's called the East Coast County Fair. Just outside of Dundalk.. Website going up next week.
