I have been asked to be a co-host for a blog-talk radio show!

I don't understand this either. I have a very nervous energy that makes me say stupid things or stop in the middle of a sentence cause I have a second thought on who I might offend.. how could that be fun to listen to? Michael's angle could be that he KNOWS I have many questions to ask about these artists music and how they deal with some of the problems I go through... AND I'm not shy about asking what may seem like a dumb question... cause I figure if I don't know the answer, I am secure enough with my ignorance of this subject to toss in a softball lob - it's now up to the musicians to hit the sucker out of the park or we can see how they react as they swing and miss! But, I am choosing to do it in any case, since I have been laid off of work and have the time to do it AND it's not about me... it's about unsigned bands and artists. I'm in it for the fun and possibly get some tips and techniques. I will also be trying to plug this site and unsignedbandweb... cause there are many cool people and musicians in these sites. Just so everyone here knows... I consider this site the professional site! I will be sure that when I do mention the sites, the difference will also be mentioned.

I first met Michael when he asked me to be a guest on his show in March. I was the guest on March 18 – I only had 3 months experience at the time and was nervous about the whole thing. Although, when I listen to the show now, I definitely hear the difference in my music now after 7 months.

Here is an interesting tidbit...
I was on the week after another member in this forum was interviewed!

WHAT??? I know what you're thinking now... "DAMN!" (or DARN! for you out there with the cleaner vocabulary)
"That damn (dang or darn) Erik has me curious now... I didn't want to, but he has manipulated me into an irresistible urge to find out WHO Michael Nayt interviewed from this site." I'm not trying to manipulate... I'm just stating a fact that they were the guest the week before I was... hmm....

It's funny, cause a minute ago I took a chance and sent a post on facebook that could backfire on me... I have some family members on facebook who are VERY conservative and I am not. A thought crossed my mind and I typed it out... I didn't have any reason to keep the text message on my computer, so I sent it off into cyberspace. But not before one of those hesitations that made me stop and think about what could happen relationship-wise with some of them. I figured I was leaving the computer until tomorrow and deal with it then and I saw your post. I hope others don't find it too extreme... but it is the truth the way I see it! Here is my post:

I think they came up with the name "hypocrites" a looooong time ago. Or were you hoping for a new word?

Seriously though, I agree with Hydro. You are a reasonable guy - just speak your mind and don't worry about it. No matter what you say, you'll never get everyone to agree with you anyway. Hell, if neither Jesus, Buddha nor Mohammed could do it, why should you or I think we could?

Enjoy the radio thing, dude. It's a privilege very few people enjoy.
