Wow, what a thread!
I'm with you Saph, they are so susceptible/impressionable at that age. A teen's brain has also not developed enough to realize how final death is. Even if it was an attempt to ferret out those that are at risk, I'm opposed. At the very least, I'd want audio tapes of the class before I entrusted any teacher to handle that topic. Breaking in with a Pole? They'd have better luck with a Russian I'd think.

Spoke to the teacher, who was apologetic but said that she hadn't really thought about it that way! .....said she has been teaching the subject for ten years and has never had any complaints before.....which I find odd! Anyway she said she is going to flag it up with the head of English to discuss my concerns and that she would speak to the children again to explain why they are learning it and to be careful looking online. So can't grumble at that.....just hope she does!

Yeah I Don't like lies, hope you didn't believe that garbage Marie, My principle forced me to work in the cafeteria and had the nerve to tell my mom he didn't know he was supposed to ask parental permission first, I signed up for that the prior year in 5th grade and now that I think of it, they didn't send letters home to parents than either, they had the kids decide for themselves if we wanted to get out of class for retarded periods of time so they wouldn't have to hire a janitor, the one they hired illegally destroyed my family and life so they didn't wanna hire anymore legal or not after that, it's all garbage Marie, schools are doing things without parental permission specifically so they can't be told no, I was tellin about it in the 3rd verse of this one: Depend Upon It
