Question

I kinda know a fella, via a website mind you, who knows a fella (on the same website) that has a neighbor who knows a fella who knows a bloke named Gary Barlow! Just think of it. I know somebody who knows someone who thinks he's famous because he knows someone who knows someone who might know someone who really isn't famous at all cause I have never heard of that person......ever......Wow! I'm not only not famous, but old and senile! Wow! Wait a minute...............

You just have no idea what fame is do you guys? Try this...drum roll please.... I once failed an audition to be included on "I wish it could be Christmas everyday" the annual auditory extravaganza we have come to know and cherish foundly. Well, not sure 'Failed' is the right word to use in this instance .... But hold your kind words of simpathy please... i moved on, turned my back on the bright lights and musical stardom for the more humble existence I now enjoy free of any bitterness, free of the drugs and debauchery and hedonsitic egotism, the wealth and acclaim... Yeah I moved on, didn't really bother me one iota! And oh how my heart soars at the sound of that jingling bell intro not bothered me. not a bit.

But did get to shake Andy Lockheads hand n '71!! AH Sweet times indeed

Ah name-dropping eh? Well...

I once played guitar behind the Drifters (god knows which drifters, there's about a 1000 of em!) in Burlington Iowa, when I was working there in 1997! So there!

I have pictures to prove it!

My band 'Southside Albert' in Iowa, 1997. Singer from The Drifters.
I'm the one with hair (gone now) and Big White Pants. Telecaster which
I bought brand new for $300, still got that.

I served Minnie Caldwell (from Corrie) when I was a wee gal and working in a stationery store...sweet old lady she was NOT...just a nasty stuck up bitch. Then I served Susanna Yorke, famous film actress of the 60s and 70s when I was working at Mothercare (only went there cos I was preggers and wanted the discount) so I am twice famous...oh yeah and I touched Charlie Watt's hand ...well I woulda done if he had just rolled his window down....so count that as thrice famous.....I am on a wall of fame somewhere I expect.
