dawnsinclair dawnsinclair is offline 31-01-2012, 16:31 PM

There are some songs on my page that I would like to delete now but can't for the life of me find the page where I do that....I have tried Organise MP3s and Manage MP3s but neither has delete on them...does anyone know how?

Hi Dawn

On the "Manage Your MP3s" page the delete button is at the extreme right-hand side (or it is on Chrome and Safari). Let me know if you can't find it on your page.

Thanks for the reply...no I definitely do not have it on my page. I use Windows Explorer, have checked I am signed in properly and go to Manage MP3s...but the word delete is not on the page anywhere and I expanded the page in case it fell off the side...no dice. Any suggestions?

OK - so I tried logging in on IE9 (the latest version) and I can see the problem straight away. For some reason the text is not wrapping at the end of the frame which means if you have just one track with a relatively long file-name it will take the page of the side of the screen, meaning you can't access the delete button. Sadly, this is a coding issue so it will have to be dealt with by someone with access to the inner workings (not me).

A temporary workaround would be to install Chrome, Safari or (possibly) Firefox (which I haven't tried). Chrome and Safari definitely work OK (and are a lot more secure than IE) but I would completely understand if you prefer not to go down the line of using a new browser.

It just means you'll need to wait a little while until Amadeus picks up on the issue and rectifies it.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Graham

I have now shortened the long titles (Andy Britton messaged me about that) and have all the red buttons for deletes...thanks to all who offered help and thanks Grey for not letting my request go unanswered even when you hadn't the answer on the tip of your tongue. For those of us with limited knowledge of the workings of the site, this is the most important thing....to feel people care.
